“Damn, I only got 16 views on this in the first 3 hours?”

Does that sound familiar to you?

Checking your stats page hoping to see an avalanche of views coming in only to get 14 views?

Sucks, doesn’t it?

Yeah it does, and guess what?

It’s your fault.

This is the most toxic, self-defeating, mental health destroying thing you can do as a creator.

Hope.

Hope that you’ll go viral and get upset when you don’t see the performance that you deserve. And, weirdly enough, the best strategy to preserve your sanity as a creator is to do the exact opposite.

You need to stop focusing on views (something you can’t control) and focus on something that you CAN control.

Your output.
