I get the anger in some sense because I used to be very angry myself regarding the injustices in the Philippines and it spilled out into my videos.

It’s tough seeing the poverty there — the 5–6 year old kids selling brooms in the streets — and not be angry at their corrupt AF government.

But at the end of the day, I wasn’t making any change. It was like I was using a hammer when I needed a screwdriver.

That’s something I’ll have to live with — and by the way, it’s not RIGHT that the people who are oppressed need to temper their articles/videos so the oppressors/those who enable the oppressed stomach it better.

It’s not right.

But it’s the world we live in and a reality. And the anger, vitriol, and blaming has proven to only widen the divide between us, not mend it.

And that widening divide will likely lead to the worst future possible for all of us.
