Something Feels Different On Medium Lately — Have You Felt It?

You just kinda feel things sometimes, people.

I can take a look at my view counts for an article and just know whether it’s doing better than normal or not.

I’ve written 1,000 of them.

I’ve measured my expectations against where Medium’s currently at, too.

My expectations for an article on Medium in 2018 compared to Medium in 2022 are two totally different things.

You just kinda feel it.

And you know it’s true for you because you haven’t changed how you write, how much you publish, or what you write about.

Guys + girls, I feel something different on Medium lately.

Less Quick Views, But More Longevity For My Posts

One big thing I’ve noticed is how much better my posts typically do on day 2 compared to day 1.
