The game is tough. Platforms change.

They owe us nothing. People don’t like hearing that, but it’s true.

They’re not allowed to change?

You can complain, for sure. Don’t get me wrong.

But time you spend complaining is time you’re not spending doing anything constructive to evolve as a creator.

Part of me thinks you’ll be complaining until the day Medium shuts its doors.

And then that’ll actually be a sad day for you — despite you saying Medium sucks already — because you enjoy complaining.

I get it, too, complaining is therapeutic and can be addicting.

But when you continue to complain about a platform for months (and years) while doing nothing constructive to improve your own situation, you come off as super whiny.

And that’s what you’re being to be honest with you. Just facts, brother.
