Shannon, with respect, what you're writing here and what you wrote in your article are two different things. I provided direct quotes showing you questioning, in fact, my character. I'll share one with you again:

"What’s the point of all of it if they can’t practice common human empathy? What’s the point if they can’t use their platform to do real good in real life?"

YOUR point in these sentences are that we do not practice common human empathy with our platforms.

MY point is I have practiced "common human empathy" on numerous occasions.

I am directly refuting two sentences you wrote in your post that make a generalization about me and a few other Medium writers. You are literally saying that we don't practice common human empathy. I don't know what else to do besides share direct quotes from your own writing.

Now it seems you're trying to gaslight me about what you actually said. No, this is precisely what you said and I think you got it wrong.
