People are too dishonest. We can’t empathize correctly if we aren’t first honest with each other about what we’re going through.

Like you said in this article, some people simply find it too difficult to be honest/live in a time+place where being honest is not exactly in the cards.

It’s a shame. But I also assume some people won’t be honest because they believe nobody will empathize with them.

It’s a circle.
