And why this might spark some growth on the platform once again.

Medium Needs More Publications

Medium is dominated by a handful of publications.

• Mind Cafe
• Entrepreneur’s Handbook
• The Startup
• Better Humans
• Better Marketing

I could keep going, but the list isn’t that long.

Is there anything inherently wrong with publications being big? Of course not. My only issue is the fact that Medium is, in the words of Lebron James, “top-heavy as f***.”

There’s Few Options For Good Writers To Get Seen

If you don’t get into these big publications, well, enjoy your obscurity on this platform.

I know we have curation but people have been complaining about that, too. It does nothing for many of us.
