Kal one thing I didn't do a good enough job of in this article is to reassure people that haven't been thru stuff that they can write too. I think just draw on your personal experience. I think everybody has been thru something in life. I was moreso talking to new writers who write about how to be successful in life even though they haven't been successful at anything.

I know a lot of writers who haven't gone on a big journey but they write about some really deep, raw, and painful experiences that they didn't choose to go through. Write about the struggle.
