It's hilarious to me that this story needs to be written in the first place. Medium, if you have a boost system that's actually fair and working, why do you feel the need to write an article defending it? Just keep doing what you do. The fact that there's so many people mad about the current system in these comments is telling. And that the "we're right, you're wrong" energy we get from Ariel in her responses to some of the VERY REAL, VERY IMPORTANT concerns people have with the system is pretty upsetting. It gives off major "playing the violin as the Titanic sinks" energy. EVERYTHING IS FINE, GUYS. REMEMBER THAT. Anyway I've grown by like 1,000 subs on Substack in the last 2 months after switching to it full-time. Anybody reading might want to join me. I just enjoy coming back to sip my tea and watch the bonfire that is Medium every once in a while. :)
