Isn’t this just traffic from Google, though? This doesn’t have much to do with on-platform traffic does it? IE what users do once they get to Medium. I wonder how much more traffic Medium could generate if they gave users more of what they actually wanted. If I see a bunch of crap on my homepage I don’t want to read, I’m bouncing right away.

Where’s all the traffic going, too?

All the big publications seem to be hitting a draught right now. Seems the general consensus in the Medium community is that views are decreasing right now for the majority of us. I just don’t understand what they’re doing right now.
