I understand what you're saying.

Here's what I meant, to clarify.. Any small improvement that can be made via the work of anyone looking to help can be seen as an improvement on the country as a whole.

Finding a job for someone, let's say, could help the country as a whole. I like to look at even the small things as a way to "raise the tide" for everything else.

I don't believe I can solve all the problems here at all. Would love to work with the locals and be an ally, though! Try to figure out solutions that they want and work with them to make those solutions a reality. I don't see a problem with that personally.
