Chris sorry for not getting back to you here. Had a crazy last few days wrapping up a program I was putting on over at LinkedIn. Yeah so I understand completely. I actually got tired of reading a lot of my favorite writers too because they kept banging on the same drum of "world's going to sh*t" Crazy how some of those writers actually grew in popularity when they started writing that stuff. For me though it was a huge turn off and it sounds like it was similar for you as well. If it was a turn off for us, it was likely a turn off for others as well. To get back to your point, I think if you're truly a writer and if you're growing as a person, it's almost impossible to have your content get stale. I am not the same person I was in 2017 or even in 2021. So naturally my articles will flow from one topic to the next as my ideas change and/or interests change. But no doubt what you said about writers work getting stale is happening and I think it's also coinciding with a drop off in performance on Medium as a whole. So it's a variety of things. Just wanted to say thank you for writing up such great comments and I appreciate you as a follower.
