Let me clarify what I meant real quick..

I just feel like Medium is a pretty tight-knit community so when you piss one person off, they don’t just go away across the far-flung reaches of the internet.

They see your article again and then that hate festers.

And because it can be so tight-knit, they can paint you out as the bad guy to a lot of people that also know you.

With video — specifically on YT and FB, they don’t get inundated with your content in the same way. There’s only 150 or so writers here that have 20k followers.

Youtube is a much more mature platform so there’s tons of other people to watch. More people watching. More users. Somebody will hate you for about 30 seconds and then go on with their day.

Here, they stay. They fester.

And it’s just a pretty negative experience for me to be honest.
