“You’re boring, Tom.”

“You’re horrible in social settings.”

“The reason you don’t have friends is because you’re so freaking selfish!”

These aren’t things someone told me recently. These are sentences I’ve told myself every day for the past few weeks.

To be quite honest with you all, I’m sort of a mess right now in my personal life.

From a business perspective, I’ve never been better. I don’t have debt, I’m creating cool stuff, and I’m making money.

When I turn inward, though, I’m lost at sea, and I think a big reason for that is the negative story I keep telling myself every day about who I am.

I suck at relationships. I suck at friendships. I’m prideful, stupid, and self-centered.

Can you relate?

Do you mentally beat yourself up every day? Do you have little to no confidence? Do you immediately skip to calling yourself a failure whenever you have one awkward moment in public?

If so, this article is for you.

The story we tell ourselves about who we are is so important. Luckily I have a $10 solution that’ll turn your negative self-talk positive, and you only need two things to accomplish this feat..
